Carol Ann (Pappalardo) Connell

Carol Ann (Pappalardo) Connell passed away on August 22, 2024 at the age of 76 in Yorktown, Virginia. Carol was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Connell. She was the loving and devoted mom of Tina Connell. Adoring grandma of Samantha (Jordan) Carolin and Garry (Camille) Rodman Jr.; great-grandmother of Jade Lillian. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in passing by her parents, Helen (Krall) and Guy Pappalardo, brother, Salvatore “Sam” (surviving Bobbi) Pappalardo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was lovingly known by all as Gram.

Gram found peace and was reunited with her husband, Sam. Her grandkids were her heroes and they loved and cared for her fiercely. Her daughter never went a day in her life without love and unwavering support. All she ever wanted was a family to love. She was a rock star mom and grandma. If you knew her and called her Gram, you were lucky enough to be in her clutches. She "adopted" every friend that her kids ever brought home. You KNEW she loved you. Her laughter and sense of humor were irresistible. If you still have your mom, be good to her. Gram's got her eye on you!

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, August 30, from 4pm to 8pm at Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10am in St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Wilmerding.
