Peacefully passed on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the age of 94. Ann was the devoted wife of the late Dragan “Danny” Kukich for 65 years. She was the loving mother of Donna (Frank “Ace”) Capuzzi and Martha (Bob) Steen. Adoring grandmother of Danny (Stephanie) Capuzzi, Stevan (Nataśa) Capuzzi, Milana (Bojan) Popović, Sonja (Saśa) Miskovic, Natalia Steen, Anna Steen, and Mira Steen; great-grandmother of Eli, Peter, Nikolina, Filip, Milica, Marija, Novak, and Sava. Ann is also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Balta, numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Dragan, Ann was preceded in passing by her parents, Velimir and Milica Balta, brother, Lou Balta, and sister, Mary (late Mike) Musulin.
Ann attended the Douglas Business School. She worked for the Serb National Federation and did clerical work for other businesses. She was the Secretary of the St. Ilija Lodge 163 of the Serb National Federation, and Secretary of St. Petka Kolo Srpski Sestara. Ann was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, and sang in the Church Choir. Above all, Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, kuma and friend. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, November 6 from 1pm to 8pm in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Pomen Service will be held at 7pm. Additional visitation will be on Monday from 10am to 11am at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Monroeville. Funeral Service will follow at 11am with Fr. Stefan Djoric Officiating.
