Angelina Maria (Liveratti) Bruce

Angelina (Liveratti) Bruce passed away April 5, 2023. Born on May 9, 1929, Angie lived her life in the town of Wilmerding. Throughout her life she spent her time helping others as a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Rosary Society, distributing the Wilmerding Preview and sewed and gave away hundreds of masks during the Covid Pandemic. She enjoyed playing cards, baked, sewed and was always thinking of ways to brighten someone’s day. Children meant the world to her. She participated in local parades in their Model A Ford tossing candy to the children. Christmas seemed to be her favorite holiday as she enjoyed visiting many homes giving treats to all the children. She was very generous, thoughtful, never forgot a birthday and showered her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends with love. 

Angie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene Bruce, brother, Pietro Liveratti, sister, Sylvia Zibrat and niece, Laura Zibrat Kurutz. She leaves behind her children Sandra Krzysiak (Gerald) and Richard Bruce (Lisa), her granddaughters Megan Zacardelli (Joe), Ashley Kossoff (Matt), Melissa Cummings (Steve) and Emily Angelina Winter (Mike), her nine great grandchildren, Gianna, Alexa and Anthony Zacardelli, Quinn, Keegan and Camden Kossoff, Colton, Bradley and Grace Cummings. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Velma Liveratti, brother-in-law, Norman Zibrat, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, April 10 from 2pm to 7pm in the Alfieri Funeral Home, 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 in St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.  Please, join us for lunch following the mass at Shelly Pie, 912 Penn Avenue, Turtle Creek, PA.
