Peacefully on November 18, 2018 age 88 of Irwin. Husband of Julie (Esasky) Zolyak and the late Helen (Bittner) Zolyak. Loving dad of Henry “Hank” Zolyak and Mary Ann Ernette. Special grandfather of David Ernette and Adam Ernette. Also survived by 27 nieces and nephews. Preceded in passing by his parents; Steven and Praska Zolyak and siblings; Michael, John, Pete, George and Andrew Zolyak, Helen Parker, Martha Buddick and Ann Czyzewski. Mr. Zolyak was a faithful Byzantine Catholic and very devoted to his church. He loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed drawing, Polka dancing and Pittsburgh sports. Family and friends welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. 201 Marguerite Ave. Wilmerding 412-824-4332 on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 Pm with a Parastas Service at 7:00 Pm. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 Am at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church. Al will be laid to rest in St. Barbara Cemetery, Harrison City Pa.
