Ruth Harris

On Tuesday, June 12, 2018, age 94 of Monroeville. Ruth was very dedicated to her family, 
enjoyed gardening and had a very giving heart. She was proud to serve her country as a U.S. Marine during WWII. Daughter of the late William E.  and  Ruth (Penrod) Mahoney.
Wife of the late Robert D. Harris  .Beloved mother of  Carol (Ronald) Dasta of Columbia S.C., Donna (Frank) Lamanna of Penn Hills, Judy ( Late Pat) Halbleib of Monroeville, Connie (George) Steinbaugh  of Monroeville, Jane (Late Dennis) Logue of North Huntingdon,Robert "Bob" (Tami) Harrris of East Palestine, Ohio, Barbara (Joe) McArthur of Moon Twp. and Dan  (Sherry) Harris of Monroeville.Foster Mother of Jean Renner. Also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren,
numerous nieces and nephews and all who loved her. In addition to her parents and husband She was preceeded in death by her grandson Jaison Harris, brothers and sisters; Ray, William "Bill", Joe and John Mahoney, Marlene Kelly,Flo Ritz and Dorothy Ray. Family and friends will be received at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc. 201 Marguerite Ave.
Wilmerding, PA 15148 (412) 824-4332 on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM .Parting prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernadette Church at  10:30 AM. Interment with military honors will take place at Restland Memorial Park
