Michael J. "Mikey" Matarazzo

Peacefully on October 31, 2018 of North Versailles formally of Wilmerding. Mr. Matarazzo was regarded as the “Greatest Generation”. He served his country in the US Army during WWII in the Battle of the Buldge in Europe. He was wounded in combat and received numerous medals including the Purple Heart. Loving father of Darlene (Mike ) Kerchner. Special Pap of; Lori (Scott) Shaulis, Doug Kerchner and Suzy (Bill) Dryer. Special Pap Pap of; Haylee, Dalton, Madison, Dakoda and Andrew. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Joan Matarazzo, parents; Gaetano and Nicoletta Matarazzo and all of his siblings. Family and friends will be received to celebrate Mr. Matarazzo’s life on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 Pm. Services in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 am.
