Peacefully on February 4, 2017 age 89 of North Huntingdon formerly of Wilmerding. Born on November 28, 1927, Jim was the son of the late Pasquale and Maria (DiMieri) Bacco. Beloved husband of A. Ruth (Leonard) Bacco. Loving father of James (Paulette) Bacco of North Versailles and Barbara (Bill) Viola of North Huntingdon. Beloved grandfather of Nina Bacco, Jacque, Ali and Joce Viola. Step – grandfather of Bill (Jenn) Viola and Addie (Kevin) Krisfalusy. Also survived by brothers; Joseph and Frank Bacco and numerous nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by siblings; Flora Damasky, Rose Sarnicola, Clara Faber, Angie Conte, Gabriel, Anthony, Samuel, Louis, and David Bacco. Jim proudly served as a US Naval First Class Seaman in WWII and the Korean War. After his discharge he returned to work as a school bus driver in the Bacco Transit business and went to own and operate Bacco’s Inspection and Service Station for over 50 years. Upon his retirement he enjoyed spending time at his homes in Florida and Pymatuning.
