Clarence H. Megahan
Clarence Henry "Mac" Megahan passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018. His late wife was Frances Elizabeth Bowman Megahan. He was survived by two children: Janice Megahan King (Bill), Charles Megahan (Kathryn), and the late Michael Megahan; he was the special grandfather of Lisa (Mark), Kelly (Mark), Bret (Becca), Bradley, and the late Christopher (Sherry); special great-grandfather of Sara, Zakk, Randy, Ashlyn, Brea, Camryn, Marco, Bailey and Luca. He was regarded as the greatest generation. Mr. Megahan was a World War II Army Veteran who served in the Pacific division during Pearl Harbor. He worked for Westinghouse Electric for 40 years. He was a Boy Scout Leader and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for many years. He loved fishing and traveling with his late wife. Family and friends welcomed from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 29, to the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, 15148, 412-824-4332, and the service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 30, in the funeral home. Mr. Megahan will be laid to rest in Restland Memorial Park with military honors. Donations can be made to-Trinity Lutheran Church, 2555 Haymaker Road, Monroeville, PA 15146.
