On Thursday, June 9, 2016, age 87, of Wilmerding. A son of the late Vincenzo and Concetta Comunale; beloved husband of 67 years of Mary A. (Ciccotelli) Comunale; dear father of Rae Ann (Michael) Stark, Carol (Gary) Homonai and Cindy (Anthony) Angelo; dear grandfather of Dana (Donato) Bonacquisto and Mark (Karen) Homonai; great-grandfather of Vianna Bonacquisto and Tanner Homonai; brother of the late Mollie Botti, Abe Comunale, Attilio Comunale, Anthony Comunale, Joe Comunale, Eda Mazziotti, Jean Goodfellow and James Comunale (surviving wife, Bernie Comunale); also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends received ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, PA 15148, 412-824-4332 on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Prayer service on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
