Mary Ann Siepkes

Mary Ann (Kucera) Siepkes, 72, of North Versailles, formerly of Turtle Creek passed away peacefully Friday, July 3, 2015, at home. Born and raised in Monroeville, she courageously fought multiple myeloma cancer for more than five years. As a devout Catholic, she served as organist and cantor at St. Colman Catholic Church in Turtle Creek for 26 years and subsequently at St. Michael Catholic Church in Pitcairn. She has lately served as organist at First Presbyterian Church of Braddock. She was a faithful member and regent of the Catholic Daughters of Americas, St. Colman's Chapter. A woman of cultured tastes, she loved music, painting, and writing and had an enthusiasm for history and current events. She was also a great lover of animals. She was a valued employee of the Credit Union and Compass Federal Bank in Wilmerding and of Wal-Mart in North Versailles. Most of all, Mary Ann will be remembered as a devoted mother and wife with a sincere concern and abundant love for her family, friends and community. She is survived by and greatly missed by her sons, John and Eric Siepkes; she was the beloved wife of the late Henry Siepkes; and daughter of the late John and Annette Kucera. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at St. Colman Church, 100 Tri-Boro Highway, Turtle Creek, PA 15145.
