Lieutenant Colonel Larry James Starkey, 60, of Trafford, formerly of San Antonio, Texas, passed peacefully Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was the beloved son of Marvin and Tillie (Antimarinio) Starkey; loving brother of Val Starkey; nephew of Walter "Pete" (Katie) Antimarinio, Mary (Frank) Witkowski, late John (late Gloria), late Pauline (late Jim) Lisk, late Norma Jean (late Lou) Chursail, late Ruthie (late Robert) Hammer, and Hope Starkey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Mr. Starkey was retired from the Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel . He was also a 21-year cancer survivor. Family and friends are being received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, 412-824-4332. Parting Prayers at 9:15 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery with military honors.
