Peacefully on June 13, 2016 age 89 of Wilmerding. Beloved husband of 65 years of Angelina “Angie” (Liveratti) Bruce. Loving dad of Sandra (Gerald) Krzysiak and Rick (Lisa) Bruce. Special grandpap of Megan (Joe) Zaccardelli, Ashley (Matt) Kossoff, Melissa (Steve) Cummings and Emily Bruce. NONO of Gianna, Alexa, Colton and Anthony. Preceded in death by parents Eugene and Mary Bruce and brothers William (surviving Grace) and Russell (surviving Brenda) Bruce. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Bruce was a Master Plumber for over 60 years, a dedicated member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish, member of Wilmerding Lyons Club, member of Local #27 Plumber Union, YMCA Wilmerding Board of Directors, social member of Sub Alpine Beneficial Society, Turtle Creek, former member of Bohemian Bowling League. He also served his country in the US Army during WWII. Friends welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home 201 Marguerite Ave Wilmerding 412-824-4332 on Tuesday from 2-8 Pm. Parting prayers offered in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 Am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 Am.
