Peacefully on Monday January 2, 2017 age 95 formally of Wilmerding. Mr. Nigra was regarded as the greatest generation serving his country durning WWII. Beloved wife of the late Molly (Barretta) Nigra. Loving Dad of Pastor Paul (Jessica) Nigra, Barbara (Robert) Anthony and Joseph Nigra. Special grandfather of Sarah, Haley, Bobby, Mollie, Emily. Special great grandfather of 3. Proceeded in passing by parents; Giacmo and Babrbara and siblings. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home 201 Marguerite Ave Wilmerding 412-824-4332 on Thursday from 2-8 Pm. Parting prayers in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Jude the Apostle at 10:00 am. Internment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery with military honors.
